Does Music Matter?

Sean Bickerton

Music moves us more deeply than any other form of creativity. And it is fundamental to our humanity, though music is created by many other inhabitants of this planet, including birds, whales, and even crickets. So, what is music? And what is a composer of music? And why do they matter? Join Sean Bickerton, BC Director of the Canadian Music Centre, in an exploration of something indispensable to the most important experiences of our lives yet so universal we take it for granted.
